I’d like to recommend this movie to all of you.
This is a very inspiriting and touching movie.

It was a true story happened in 1981.

Chris Gardner (Will Smith) was a salesman struggling to build a future for himself and his five-year-old son Christopher (Jaden Smith) in San Francisco. When Chris’ girlfriend couldn’t stand the bad living situation and finally walked out, he was left to raise Christopher on his own. He found an unpaid internship in a brutally competitive stockbroker-training program, where only one in twenty interns will be hired.

But without a salary, Chris and his son were evicted from their apartment and were forced to sleep on the streets, in homeless shelters and even behind the locked doors of a metro station bathroom. However, Chris Gardner’s determination paid off. He overcame all the obstacles and became a Wall Street legend.

The “happyness” of the title was written on purpose though “happiness” should be the right spelling. When Chris took his son to the kindergarten in Chinatown every morning, he saw the wrong word “happyness” on the wall, and he told the cleaner to clean the wall because he didn’t want his son to learn the wrong vocabulary. Moreover, “the pursuit of happiness” is a sentence in the Declaration of Independence “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

I like this movie very much.

I almost cried after watching this movie.
I’m always thing about if I have the same situation; can I make it like that man?
Honestly, I don’t think I can.
However, after watching it, I don’t be afraid to things I feel difficult. If the man can build his future in such a bad condition, I can also build my future since I’m in a better condition.
